ADS-DV Sensor Plate
Our main project consists of developing a complete sensor plate mounted on the ADS-DV vehicle lent by IMechE for Formula Student UK. This electric vehicle dedicated to the autonomous category integrates our internally developed software stack.
The plate integrates a Velodyne Puck lidar, ZED X One stereo cameras, an Ellipse-D GNSS/IMU, an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin and a custom ARECE power PCB. The system enables perception, localization, planning and autonomous vehicle control.
Alce Project
In parallel, ARECE launches the Alce project: designing and building our own electric single-seater to compete in other Formula Student competitions in the electric category.
The vehicle is currently under construction with a target first competition in 2027. This project will allow the team to master the entire chain: chassis, powertrain, onboard electronics and autonomy.
